Workshop 4: Practice essentials in off-loading

Off-loading is now recognized as the most important factor in both the prevention and treatment of foot ulcers.

Do you also face the dilemma of how to unload and which products to use ? During this workshop the care for foot ulcers will be approached from a biomechanics perspective rather than wound care.

The different steps in foot ulcer management will be explored, along with tips and tricks and the choice of the most adequate off-loading technique.

Interactive case discussions and demo’s will be used. The attendees can also discuss own cases.
